Hart Gables

Hart Gables was set up more than 10 years ago to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) people.  It is a registered charity and remains the only organisation in Hartlepool that offers support for LGBT people.

The organisation is run by a Management Committee of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people living in and around Hartlepool, which is supported by advisors from a range of helpful local agencies.

Hart Gables provides a range of services for those questioning their sexuality or gender.

There is a regular mixed group and a group specifically for our transgender community.

There is a counselling service, and you can access trained listeners on the telephone or in one-to-one sessions at our base on South Road.
